Quality Controller required for a well-established fresh food producer with a trading history of over 75 years who supplies into leading retailers. This is a great opportunity to join an expanding business who can offer longevity and security.
This role would suit candidates with a background in quality control and experience working with fresh produce. Joining a large quality team in a fast packhouse environment, you will be responsible for monitoring the quality of products throughout the packing process. This will involve working throughout the dispatch department, handling samples and products.
The Quality Controller Role:
- Quality checks on fresh produce
- Recording inspection results
- Support quality related investigations
- Monitoring product and packing presentation
- Checking shelf life, defects, weight
- Assist with audits
