Quality Engineer required by a well-established manufacturer. The Quality Engineer will need an HNC / Degree level qualification (or equivalent), be internal or lead auditor certified (or equivalent) and have experience of quality engineering in a safety critical engineering environment. The Quality Engineer Role:

  • Assist in maintaining the company quality management system and ensure compliance with the appropriate standards.
  • Complete internal audits and special process workstation assessments.
  • Support the Quality Manager and follow up with internal departments regarding NCR's raised from internal and external sources.
  • Conduct supplier assessments, audits and appraisals.
  • Complete internal, external, customer FAI's.
  • Conduct process / Quality training and support Mechanical Inspectors at goods inwards.

The Quality Engineer:

  • HNC / Degree level qualification (or equivalent).
  • Internal or lead auditor certified (or equivalent).
  • Experience of quality engineering in a safety critical engineering environment.
  • Experience of using measurement equipment such as micrometres, callipers, height gauges and CMM's.
