CAD Technician (Design / Engineer)
Willerby, Hull
Up to £35,000 DOE + 20 Days Holidays + Additional Time Off Between 24th December to 1st January + Bank Holidays + Pension + Long Term Progression and Development Opportunities
Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm. Fridays, 8am to 2.00pm.
CAD Technician required for a specialist solutions provider for infrastructure projects who are committed to environmental sustainability. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company with a history of over 50 years.
This role would suit candidates with experience working as a CAD Technician using both 2D and 3D software.
Working closely with the design engineer, the successful CAD Technician will support the design of bespoke formwork solutions using AutoCAD, Revit and Inventor to create 2D and 3D models and detailed designs.
The CAD Technician Role:
- Using AutoCAD and Inventor or Revit for production of modelling and detailed designs
- Working on development of formwork solutions for bridges and civil structures
- Ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards
- Collaboration with production teams
- Liaise with customers to understand project requirements
- Occasional site visits
The CAD Technician Candidate:
