CAD and Project Engineer required for an expanding and well-established company. The company offers training on their products and services.
Candidates will need experience in 2D CAD in Noise Control or Building Services and have a knowledge of designing/drawing products that are sheet metal based.
You will create general arrangement and detailed drawings for Noise Control projects, ensuring specifications are met. The successful candidate will work within a small team and with clients to develop designs to meet project requirements. You may be required to attend site visits when needed; a pool car/expenses will be available.

The CAD/Project Engineer Role in Brief:- Produce 2D designs using BricsCAD
- Review and update drawings based upon client comments/design changes
- Produce manufacturing drawings
- Produce installation drawings
- Produce parts lists
- Produce fixings list
- Attend site visits
- Assist with general office duties
- Liaise with factory to ensure smooth progress of manufacturing
- Attend site visits when required
- 2D CAD experience in Noise Control or Building/Mechanical Services
- Experience in design products fabricated from sheet metal with a knowledge of light weight structural steel fabrications.
- Excellent attention to detail
