A Mechanical Fitter is required for an industry leading supplier of manufacturing machinery with a reputation for global excellence. This is a great opportunity to join a company that is truly committed to developing their staff. Within this role, you will be based at a brand-new, purpose-built facility and will be joining an expanding team.
Candidates will hold previous experience as a fitter or in an assembly focused role. Mechanical and electrically biased candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:- Assembly of machinery
- Using hand and power tools, pillar drills, deburring tools and grinding wheels
- Fit pipe, pneumatic and water circuits using copper or plastic pipe work
- Secure fix cables, looms, switches and other electrical devices to machine assemblies from electrical drawings
- Mechanical fitting / assembly experience
- Mechanical and electrically biased candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous experience as a fitter or in an assembly focused role
Salary: £16.00ph to £18.00ph DOE
Overtime (1.5x), Contributory Pension, 25 Days Holiday, Group Life Assurance (5x Salary), Income Protection, Training and Development, Private Medical Insurance
Working Pattern: 9/10 Day Working Per Fortnight, Average 37 Hour Working Week
Week 1: Monday to Friday 07:15 to 16:00 OR 07:45 to 16:30 (Finish 15 Minutes Earlier on a Friday)
Week 2: Monday to Thursday
