Forklift Service Engineer required for a leading supplier of material handling equipment. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established hire company with a history of 30 years who are offering a competitive salary, leading manufacturer training and regular overtime opportunities.
The successful candidate for this role will have previous experience working with forklifts and will have experience with servicing, diagnostics and repairs. Candidates with experience working on other heavy plant equipment are encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned servicing, examinations, diagnostics and repairs on forklifts at customer sites. This will involve working with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
You will occasionally support activities in the Aberdeen workshop; however, the focus of the role will be field based. Approximately 90% of the work is based in the greater Aberdeen area, however you will also be required to travel further afield for routine service visits three to four times a year.
