We are seeking a dedicated and professional Night Porter to join our team at the Holiday Inn London Luton Airport .

Role
Overview: As part of the night team, you will ensure that all guests receive professional, friendly, and efficient service while performing all operational tasks in line with our company procedures and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to all department and guest health, safety, and security procedures while successfully completing training.
- Complete all company and brand training as required.
- Follow statutory and company requirements related to money and key handling, credit procedures, health and safety, fire safety, and employment legislation.
- Deliver high standards of service to all guests at reception, the bar, in the restaurant, and through room service during night hours.
- Implement company and brand standards for check-in and check-out procedures whenever necessary.
- Be knowledgeable about hotel facilities, services, and promotions, offering information to guests when appropriate.
- Recognize IHG Rewards members and ensure they receive their benefits.
- Assist with guest luggage delivery and collection to/from bedrooms.
- Ensure the completion of night audit procedures as required by the company.
- Prepare and serve late-night refreshments while following all food safety and allergens procedures.
- Manage guest wake-up calls and collect Room Service breakfast door hangers, acting accordingly.
- Set up and prepare the breakfast buffet in compliance with food safety protocols.
- Ensure meeting rooms are properly set up as per requirements.
- Carry out necessary housekeeping duties, adhering to the IHG Way of Clean procedures.
- Perform regular floor and car park checks, implementing follow-up actions to maintain property presentation.
- Properly dispose of waste from containers.
- Execute any reasonable requests or projects by the hotel’s General Manager to enhance the business.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role or customer service position is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive attitude and attention to detail.
