Our client, a well-established organisation within the wealth management sector, is seeking to appoint a Consumer Duty Specialist to support the ongoing development of its conduct and customer governance framework. This is a broad, business-facing role suited to an experienced financial services professional who combines strong regulatory knowledge with the ability to influence stakeholders and embed good practice across operational teams.
The successful individual will play an important part in strengthening how customer outcomes are assessed, monitored and evidenced across the business. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will help ensure regulatory expectations are met while supporting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. The role blends regulatory reporting, governance oversight, MI analysis and cross-functional collaboration. It will suit someone comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands-on level.
Key Responsibilities- Support the preparation of senior-level reporting relating to Consumer Duty and customer outcomes.
- Contribute to assessments reviewing product governance, value delivery and client experience.
- Maintain and enhance internal frameworks aligned to conduct risk and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with business areas to ensure clear ownership of policies, processes and controls.
- Assist in the development of management information to provide insight into customer outcomes and emerging risks.
- Contribute to governance forums and committee reporting.
- Support ongoing monitoring and review activity in relation to conduct and regulatory standards.
- Provide input into training and awareness initiatives relating to Consumer Duty.
- Solid experience within financial services (wealth or asset management experience preferred).
- Good working knowledge of UK conduct regulation and Consumer Duty principles.
- Experience contributing to regulatory or Board-level reporting.
- Strong analytical capability and excellent written communication skills.
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing across departments.
- Organised, pragmatic and capable of managing multiple priorities within a regulated environment.
