Lutine Bell are working with a leading Asset Manager who are looking to appoint a Compliance Manager Marketing Distribution into their expanding Compliance function. You will provide high quality advisory compliance support to the Product Provider Oversight team and will be required to provide independent compliance oversight, advice, guidance and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provision of written and oral compliance advice and guidance to L&G Asset Management’s Marketing and Distribution teams
  • Review marketing materials and provide timely advice about marketing and disclosure requirements for UK funds
  • Participate in regulatory change projects and business led projects, assessing regulatory requirements and risks. Provide compliance support, oversight and advice to projects. Attend working meetings and prepare reports as appropriate
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry best practice and developments to ensure early awareness of initiatives and effective identification and management of new and changing regulatory risks.
  • Work with the CCO and other compliance colleagues to successfully manage the organisations compliance function and work

What We’re Looking For:

  • Good understanding of rules applying to UCITS and AIF Product Providers in the UK.
  • Good knowledge of UK financial promotion and marketing rules, guidance and practice.
  • Has held a similar role in another financial services firm
  • Ability to analyse and advise on emerging regulatory risks and how they might impact the business
  • Regulatory knowledge and experience of FCA rules and practical application
  • Must have full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided)
