We are working exclusively with a renowned financial services organisation in search of a talented IT Risk Business Partner to join their expanding Risk function. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s IT risk landscape while aligning with strategic business goals.
As an IT Risk Business Partner, you will operate as a trusted advisor to the IT department and leadership team. Your remit will cover everything from risk analysis and performance monitoring to strategic planning and executive reporting. You’ll be central to embedding the Group Risk Framework and driving a strong risk culture throughout the function.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with IT leadership to assess risks, develop scenario analyses, and implement risk remediation plans
- Track risk exposure and advise on optimisation opportunities
- Support the production of board-level risk reporting and MI in collaboration with central Risk
- Evaluate and monitor project-related risks and key control indicators
- Lead periodic reviews of programs, roadmaps, and operational risk performance
- Partner with senior stakeholders to align risk activity with business strategy and good customer outcomes
- Promote continuity and resilience through secure and sustainable service delivery
- Present complex risk data and trends to senior management and stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement in risk awareness and control management
- Proven experience in an IT Risk, Technology Risk, or Risk Business Partnering role
- Strong knowledge of risk frameworks, performance metrics, and regulatory expectations
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to translate complex risk data into clear, actionable insights
- Experience within financial services or a regulated environment preferred
