Head of Enterprise Risk Management – East Sussex (1 day per week)
Lutine Bell are supporting a leading General Insurance organisation based in the UK looking to appoint a Head of Enterprise Risk Management to drive the risk culture across the company.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Subject Matter Experts across disciplines of risk, including facilitating the monitoring and management of operational, pricing and actuarial.
- Drive good customer outcomes and help ensure that risk framework appropriately monitors and manages conduct risk.
- Ensure appropriate operational resilience, incident management and business continuity framework to ensure that the company has a well-designed Risk Management Framework that is effectively implemented on an ongoing basis.
- Lead on enterprise risk matters including at Executive committee, SteerCos, Boards or other Committees.
Experience & Skills:
- Experience of successfully leading Enterprise Risk agendas and the effective design, communication and implementation of risk frameworks within Insurance.
- Strong and effective communication and the ability to sustain effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels – a strong communicator & influencer with the ability to effect change.
- Strong analytical skills, and an ability to understand risks associated with pricing strategies and actuarial reserving methodologies.
- Proven SME in Business Continuity Management, Incident Management and Operational Resilience programme delivery.
