Lutine Bell is partnering with a global insurer with a significant London Market presence to hire a DUA Senior Analyst. This is a high-responsibility governance, oversight, and operations role focused on managing Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA) arrangements and outsourced service providers within the London Market.

You will oversee the full lifecycle of non-IT outsourced service partners and delegated authority arrangements, ensuring that all relationships operate in line with regulatory expectations, internal governance standards, and commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities include:
  • The role provides subject-matter expertise across due diligence, onboarding, oversight, performance monitoring.
  • Act as a key partner to underwriting, compliance, claims, and operations teams, supporting the business in maintaining a robust and well-controlled outsourcing and delegated authority framework.
  • Manage the setup and renewal of delegated authority arrangements.
  • Monitor how delegated partners are performing after onboarding.
  • Oversee outsourced non-IT service providers.
  • Coordinate audits of coverholders and TPAs.
  • Advise underwriting teams and work across departments.
  • Help modernise and improve controls.
What you’ll need:
  • Strong knowledge of delegated authority frameworks within the London Market, including binding authorities, coverholders, and TPAs.
  • Hands-on experience and understanding of all governance and oversight activities in the delegated underwriting lifecycle, including due diligence, coverholder audit and bordereaux management.
  • Understanding of Lloyd’s Minimum Standards, FCA expectations, conduct risk principles, and oversight requirements.
  • Background within a Lloyd’s managing agent, London Market insurer, broker DA team, or specialist delegated authority consultancy.
  • Must have full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided).
