Lutine Bell are supporting a leading Investment Platform looking to hire a Tax Specialist into a broad in-house role supporting the Group Tax Manager across compliance, reporting and wider tax projects. This isn’t just a compliance-heavy role; there’s a good mix of technical work, stakeholder exposure and process improvement, making it a strong opportunity for someone wanting to broaden their experience in-house.
The role will involve:
- Supporting the preparation of half year and full year corporate tax reporting, including tax provisions for statutory accounts and group reporting
- Assisting with quarterly corporation tax forecasting and ensuring HMRC payments and reporting deadlines are met accurately and on time
- Working on HMRC-related matters across the group, including correspondence, reporting requirements and supporting responses where needed
- Monitoring and helping implement changes to UK tax legislation and wider tax regime developments impacting the business
- Supporting tax projects linked to process improvement, regulatory change and broader finance transformation activity
- Partnering with finance teams and senior stakeholders to provide tax input across different areas of the business
