The Ark Salisbury Lutheran Kindergarten is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic early childhood teacher to join our team in Term 1 for a short-term contract position with full time or part time hours negotiable during this period (Monday February 16th - Friday April 10th).
Salisbury Lutheran Kindergarten is a kindergarten of the Lutheran Church and is a Department for Education Grant‑Funded kindergarten. We are a ministry of Salisbury Lutheran Church, The Ark. The kindergarten has two groups of children attending for one year before they start school, with children attending two full days per week and 33 children enrolled in each group. Many kindergarten families and children have English as a second language, and bring a diverse range of cultural backgrounds, languages and perspectives to The Ark Kindergarten. The Ark Kindergarten values and celebrates this diversity and embraces opportunities for building cross‑cultural relationships and helping children and families develop a sense of belonging at The Ark.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or ACECQA recognised equivalent
- HLTAID012 First Aid Certificate
- South Australian Teacher Registration
- Responding to Risk of Harm Abuse and Neglect Training (RRHAN)
- Current Working with Children Check
- Experience working in a preschool setting
- Experience and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework v2.0 and current early childhood education pedagogies and practice
