Luther King are hiring a general maintenance person to support the smooth operations of the business during a period of exciting change and refurbishment.
Hours: 1.00pm – 6.00pm – Monday to Friday. Occasional weekend or evening work may be required. We are happy to meet candidates who may want to explore flexible working hours.
Salary: £13.45 per hour paid weekly.
Duties:
- To work alongside our other general maintenance person to cover reactive and scheduled maintenance on a daily basis in hotel bedrooms, meeting rooms, public areas and offices.
- There may be times that working off-site is required.
- Typical jobs involved in this role will include:
- basic plumbing
- electrical and joinery work
- painting and decorating
- compliance checks
- cleaning
- being able to assist in a variety of reasonable tasks as directed by the Operations Manager
Personal Qualities:
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to prioritise own workload
- Although this role is not directly ‘public-facing,’ the successful applicant will need to respond in an appropriate manner to residents and guests.
- Valid driving license would be preferred.
