Job Summary
To work alongside our other general maintenance person to cover reactive and scheduled maintenance on a daily basis in hotel bedrooms, meeting rooms, public areas and offices. There may be times that working off site is required.
Main duties
- Basic plumbing, electrical and joinery work
- Painting and decorating
- Garden maintenance
- Compliance checks
- Cleaning
- Being able to assist in a variety of reasonable tasks as directed by the Operations Manager
Personal Qualities
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Excellent time management
- Ability to prioritise own workload
- Although this role is not directly public-facing, the successful applicant will need to respond in an appropriate manner to residents and guests
- Valid driving licence would be preferred
Hours of Work
1:00pm - 6:00pm Monday to Friday, but occasional weekend or evening work may be required. We are happy to meet candidates who may want to explore flexible working hours.
