Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer for FEL 1 / 2a and FEL 2b / 3, the post holder will be responsible for the management and continuous improvement of the corporate Business Management System (BMS), ensuring ongoing ISO 9001:2015 certification and alignment with current operations. The role also supports projects as a Project Quality Manager (PQM), with 50% of the role dedicated to projects and 50% to corporate activities.
A key component of this role involves reviewing and updating current BMS procedures and guidelines to reflect the evolving needs of the business, including workflow mapping, waste identification, and process streamlining.
Corporate Quality Leadership:- Manage, maintain, and improve the corporate Quality Management System (QMS) and Business Management System (BMS).
- Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and waste.
- Lead the Management Review process, ensuring it reflects current operations and strategic direction.
- Plan and manage quality awareness and education programmes for all employees.
- Create and implement Project Quality Plans tailored to specific client and project needs.
- Develop and manage project audit schedules and ensure project compliance with QMS.
- Act as subject matter expert and interface between customers and Centres of Excellence (CoEs) for all project quality matters.
- Provide prompt, clear, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders on quality issues.
- Develop effective reporting on project quality performance and metrics.
- Coordinate delivery and tracking of project-specific quality requirements.
Demonstrated experience in workflow/process mapping, waste elimination (Lean principles), and operational streamlining. Extensive experience with quality requirements for technically complex projects, including engineering and economic planning for large-scale infrastructure. Understanding of front-end development stages in energy projects, ideally within the energy transition space. Proven background in client-facing, project-driven roles. Trained and experienced in quality audits and ISO 9001 systems. Proficient in problem-solving methodologies, data analysis, and reporting. Fully computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
