We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a complex internal fit-out project based in Lanarkshire. This is a fixed-term contract initially scheduled for 5 months, with the opportunity to extend depending on project progression.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for on-site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day site activities on a busy fit-out project
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and trades to maintain programme targets
  • Ensure all works are carried out in line with design specifications and quality standards
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Enforce strict health & safety compliance, including site inductions and audits
  • Liaise effectively with project stakeholders, including clients and senior management
  • Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports and site diaries
  • Manage material deliveries and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Conduct regular site meetings and toolbox talks
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry
  • Strong background in interiors / fit-out projects (essential)
  • Experience managing complex internal refurbishment or high-quality fit-out works
  • Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
  • Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proactive problem-solving approach
Desirable
  • Experience delivering projects in live or occupied environments
  • Knowledge of high-spec commercial interiors
  • Previous contract roles on fast-paced fit-out schemes
