Your new role
You will join the business as a Senior Credit Controller, operating in a standalone capacity with full ownership of the credit control function. Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in maintaining cash flow, managing aged debt, and ensuring robust credit processes. This is a hands-on position requiring confidence, accountability, and the ability to operate independently while engaging with key stakeholders across the business.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Full ownership of the end-to-end credit control process
- Proactive management of aged debt and cash collection targets
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external clients
- Liaising with senior members of staff to resolve complex account queries
- Monitoring customer credit limits and risk exposure
- Producing regular reports on debtor performance for senior leadership
- Identifying and implementing process improvements where appropriate

- Approximately 15+ years experience in credit control
