Lusona Consultancy are delighted to be Exclusively Partnered with our client in the Housing sector to recruit for a Finance Manager. This is a fantastic role joining a community focused organisation with a strategic focus to improve lives through sustainable housing across Glasgow and surrounding areas.
The Finance Manager will report to the Director of Finance and will be responsible for leading a team of Finance officers. The opportunity is a hybrid position, 3 days in office and provides a competitive salary of £50,000 - £55,000 per annum. Our client offers generous benefits including a 35 hour working week, generous pension contribution and 40 days annual leave.
The Finance Manager will provide the effective management of the team of finance officers contributing to strategic planning and supporting the business achieve its objectives. The Finance Manager will be responsible for the preparation of the 5 year budget and 30 year business plans and financial forecasts offering commercial insight and guidance.
You will be responsible for 3 key areas:
- Management Accounting
- Producing Management Accounts with commentary
- Budgeting and forecasting and variance analysis
- Preparation of annual budget
- Producing board reports and presenting MI
- Financial Accounting
- Statutory reporting and Year-end accounts production
- Liaising with External Auditors at year-end
- Fixed Asset Register Maintenance
- Team Management
- Leading a team of Finance officers
- Providing sound leadership and ensuring deadlines are achieved
- Process improvement along the way
