Management Accountant
Glasgow (Fully Office-Based)
Salary up to £40k (DOE) + Study Support
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a growing finance team within a successful engineering and manufacturing business for the post of Management Accountant. Youll play a key role in supporting the Financial Controller with a variety of month-end and reporting responsibilities across group and subsidiary companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for group and subsidiary companies
- Balance sheet reconciliations and cashflow maintenance
- VAT returns and fixed asset register management
- Cost, margin and profitability analysis on project work
- Processing of invoices for smaller group entities
- Support in year-end audit file preparation and process improvement initiatives
About You:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a management accounting role
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills; experience with Sage Intacct is a plus
- Able to meet tight deadlines and work independently or as part of a team
- Ideally part-qualified (AAT/ACCA/CIMA), though QBE candidates will be considered
