Lusona Consultancy are recruiting on behalf of a Glasgow based Not for profit organisation as they recruit for a Finance Manager. Joining a forward looking organisation, the Finance Manager will join a team of over 120 employees with a values focus at the heart of the organisation and long term commitment to sustainability and asset development. Our client is looking for a proven leader who can support and develop the team and add value across end-end financial management.
The Finance Manager will report to the Finance Director and leadership team and will be offered an annual salary basis of £60,000 - 64,000 per annum. Benefits include hybrid working, 40 days annual leave, critical illness cover and up to 10% pension.
The Finance Manager will be part of the Leadership team and will be responsible for managing key financial processes and controls and effective decision making across the finance team. The Finance Manager will lead the preparation of Management Accounts and cashflows on a monthly basis for the organisation and subsidiaries including reviewing and monitoring performance against budget.
Key responsibilities:- Preparation and presentation of Board reports in relation to accounting and financial planning
- Preparation of the audited Annual Accounts and ensuring that they are in accordance with statutory requirements
- Producing Statutory/Year-end Accounts
- Budget preparation, forecasting and variance analysis
- Monthly management accounts review and associated commentary
- Leading the finance function and development of continuous improvement processes
- Qualified Member of ACCA/ICAS/CIMA
- Hands on Finance manager experience and Team leadership
- Production of Statutory Accounts
- Strong Systems/Excel experience
This is a well-rounded role offering the opportunity to own and shape the finance team across an end-end environment. This is a commercial role that will face into multiple stakeholders and offer insight, guidance and technical rigour across the finance function. You will join a friendly and focussed team in a progressive setting with new projects and initiatives along the way.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years experience in a similar role and will be fully qualified with excellent communication skills. Our client offer a fast paced and meaningful working environment where no two days are the same. With an excellent culture and team focus our client offers a 35 hour working week under a hybrid model with a competitive salary of £60,000 - £64,000 dependant on experience.
