A growing and well-established group is seeking a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to support its finance function. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and expanding business, contributing to both entities within a varied and hands-on role.
Reporting directly into the Finance & Office Manager, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day finance operations across both companies. Key responsibilities will include:
- Processing invoices
- Managing purchase and sales ledger activities
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Assisting with general finance administration
This role offers flexibility and variety, making it ideal for an experienced accounts professional looking for a part-time position.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a similar Accounts Assistant position (ideally 3-4 years)
- Working knowledge of Xero accounting software
- Strong Excel skills (including advanced functions)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Competitive salary of £28,000-£30,000 (pro rata), pension scheme (NEST, 3% employer contribution), 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata), and a flexible part-time working pattern.
Working Hours: Flexible part-time arrangement. Options include 3 full days per week or shorter days (e.g. Monday-Thursday, 10:00am-2:00pm).
