Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm (some flexibility)

As a Workshop Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth planning, coordination, and execution of vehicle test lane activities. You will be responsible for maintaining high safety and compliance standards while supporting workshop productivity and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate all vehicle bookings, ensuring efficient scheduling and maximising test lane utilisation
  • Manage and operate the test lane on designated days, ensuring a smooth workflow and adherence to procedures
  • Carry out voluntary brake testing and multi-point vehicle checks to a high standard
  • Prepare and present vehicles for testing, including pre-checks such as lights, air systems, and headlight alignment
  • Safely load and unload customer vehicles, maintaining excellent handling standards
  • Ensure all test lane equipment is compliant, functional, and well-maintained
  • Support workshop efficiency by assisting with PMI brake testing processes
  • Conduct road tests where required to confirm vehicle safety and performance
  • Perform yard movements to ensure effective vehicle positioning within the site
  • Undertake tachograph training and carry out calibrations and checks when required
