We’re seeking a Warehouse Manager to take ownership of our client's warehousing operations and help drive efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement across their modern facility in Paisley. This is more than just a warehousing role—we’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and is excited by the opportunity to shape processes and lead a team through growth and change.
As Warehouse Manager, you’ll lead all aspects of warehouse operations, from stock control and order fulfilment to logistics and space management. You’ll play a key role in supporting business-wide operational targets, championing health & safety, and embedding a culture of LEAN and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Operations Director, you shall be responsible for a range of duties, such as:
- Management of all warehouse operations to meet business and customer needs
- Oversee inbound/outbound stock flow and order fulfilment
- Produce and analyse daily operational reports, identifying areas for development
- Lead the implementation of LEAN methodology within the team
- Maintain high stock accuracy with perpetual stock-taking
- Line manage and develop a diverse warehouse team
- Chair the Health & Safety Committee and uphold best practices
- Support logistics and final-mile delivery planning
- Ensure compliance with export and dangerous goods regulations
- Review warehouse layout to maximise space and efficiency
It is expected that you shall be:
- Experienced in warehouse management, ideally at a managerial level
- Possess a strong working understanding of LEAN principles
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and warehouse management systems
- Comfortable leading in a fast-moving, team-driven environment
- Hold a valid forklift licence (reach and counterbalance preferred)
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and hands-on approach
