Most auditors spend years developing a deep understanding of risk, controls, governance and financial reporting. Few opportunities allow you to use that experience in a broader, more commercially focused consulting environment. This opportunity sits within a growing Financial Services Risk Consulting team that partners with insurers, asset managers, wealth managers and banks to help them strengthen controls, navigate regulatory change and deliver large-scale transformation programmes.

Whether your experience comes from auditing insurers, asset managers, wealth managers or banking clients, this role offers a natural next step into advisory whilst building upon the technical expertise you've already developed.

Typical project work:

  • Internal Controls and Governance Reviews
  • SOX and IFCR Programmes
  • Risk and Regulatory Change Projects
  • Finance Transformation Initiatives
  • IFRS 17 Implementation and Enhancement
  • Process and Controls Optimisation
  • Operational Risk and Controls Assessments
  • Financial Reporting Controls Reviews
  • Technology and Data-Driven Controls Transformation

What we're looking for:

  • ACA / CA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Currently operating at Audit Assistant Manager or equivalent level
  • Experience auditing Financial Services clients including: Insurance, Asset & Wealth Management, Banking
  • Understanding of risk, controls and governance frameworks
  • Exposure to SOX, IFCR, controls testing or controls assurance would be highly advantageous
  • IFRS 17 exposure is desirable but not essential
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Curious, analytical and interested in solving business problems

Why join?

  • Step away from the traditional audit cycle
  • Work on strategic advisory projects
  • Broaden your technical and commercial skillset
  • Gain exposure to regulatory, risk and transformation agendas
  • Collaborate with specialists across risk, finance, data and technology
  • Build a long-term consulting career within Financial Services

Salary up to £58,000 plus comprehensive benefits package. Hybrid working.
