A leading private client-focused firm is seeking an experienced solicitor or tax advisory professional to join its Tax & Succession team. This team specialises in advising landed estates, rural businesses, and high-net-worth families on complex ownership and asset structuring arrangements. You will provide comprehensive advice on estate planning, succession planning, trusts, and asset protection, as well as assist with estate administration and drafting legal documents. Collaboration is key—you’ll work alongside experts in property, business law, charity law, family law, and litigation to deliver holistic solutions to clients.
What We’re Looking For:
- Scottish qualified solicitor with 3+ years PQE (or equivalent experience).
- We welcome applications from solicitors qualified in England & Wales and tax advisory professionals with relevant experience.
- Strong technical and practical skills, with commercial awareness and the ability to manage complex work independently.
- A full STEP membership or willingness to complete the STEP diploma (funded by the firm).
- Excellent interpersonal skills, discretion, and empathy when dealing with clients.
