Professional Support Lawyer (Part-Time) β Real Estate
Location: Edinburgh or Glasgow
Contract: Permanent

A highly regarded UK law firm is seeking an experienced Property Solicitor to join its busy and dynamic Scottish Real Estate team as a Professional Support Lawyer (PSL). This part-time position is ideal for a solicitor with good knowledge of property law who enjoys contributing to knowledge development, training, and innovation in legal services.
Key Responsibilities
- Knowledge Management: Oversee and develop online knowledge systems and resources; implement consistent knowledge capture from fee earners.
- Precedents & Document Automation: Draft, update, and maintain precedents, guides, and manuals; assist in the preparation and testing of automated legal documents.
- Training & Development: Support and deliver training sessions for trainees, paralegals, assistants, and wider property teams; contribute to the induction process.
- Online Services: Set up and manage online accounts for client e-services.
- Business Development: Liaise with marketing and BD teams; edit and manage content for online platforms; contribute to the publication of legal updates and insights.
About You
- Qualified solicitor with experience in property law (Scottish qualified)
- Strong interest in legal knowledge management and innovation
- Experience creating and managing legal precedents
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Comfortable working collaboratively with technical and client-facing teams
