As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering and signing off structural designs for a wide range of residential housing developments. You’ll work closely with design teams, clients, and local authorities to ensure compliance with building standards and regulations. Your role will involve:
- Leading structural design for housing projects
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
- Ensuring all work complies with SER protocols and Scottish Building Standards
- Managing multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
- Providing technical oversight and mentoring junior engineers
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Degree qualified in Structural Engineering or other relevant subject
- Chartered Engineer status (CEng)
- Proven experience delivering structural engineering solutions in residential projects
