An established Building Services consultancy is seeking a dedicated M&E CAD Technician to join their growing technical team. The organisation delivers high-quality Mechanical and Electrical design solutions across a wide range of sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, industrial, and more. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the M&E design team by producing accurate, clear, and consistent 2D CAD drawings for mechanical and electrical building services projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Produce, amend, and maintain 2D CAD drawings for Mechanical & Electrical building services.

- Organise and manage drawing files using established naming conventions and internal systems.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated drawing outputs.
- Assist in updating or modifying existing drawings as project requirements evolve.
Requirements:
- Proficient in 2D AutoCAD with experience in an M&E or Building Services environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical building services layouts.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to established standards.
- Experience working on building projects in a consultancy or contractor environment.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Experience producing schematics and standard details.
- Familiarity with document control and CAD standards.
