Role Overview
As a Junior BIM Coordinator, you’ll be supporting the MEP BIM Lead across the RIBA stages, ensuring models and data are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with project standards.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assist with the creation, development, and maintenance of 3D models across MEP.
- Support the coordination of federated models, identifying clashes and producing reports.
- Update drawings, details, and schedules using Revit, Navisworks, and associated BIM software.
- Help maintain project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and model standards.
- Liaise with engineers, designers, subcontractors, and the wider digital team to ensure smooth model integration.
- Participate in clash detection meetings and contribute to resolving design issues.
- Assist in managing COBie data drops and other digital handover information.
- Provide general support to BIM workflows, digital processes, and model audits.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a Revit‑based role within building services MEP.
- Working knowledge of Revit is essential.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks is beneficial.
- Understanding of BIM Level 2 standards, digital workflows, and common data environments (CDEs).
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the confidence to work with multiple stakeholders.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn from the senior digital engineering team.
