As the HSEQ Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality activities across the organisation. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with HSEQ audit and inspection programmes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Collating and reporting HSE statistics, near-misses and observations.
- Coordinating internal and external HSEQ training and contributing to employee development.
- Advising on RAMS and assisting with subcontractor and site audits.
- Visiting sites regularly, including some travel across the region.
This role offers genuine scope to influence safety culture and support continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within Health & Safety.
- Strong communication, relationship building and influencing skills.
- Analytical mindset with good attention to detail and report-writing skills.
- Competence with Microsoft Office.
- Full UK driving licence.
