The role is fully office-based in Glasgow and ideal for a hands‑on accountant who enjoys variety, responsibility, and working as part of a collaborative team.
This role would suit a Part qualified accountant looking for their next move in a varied commercial environment.
This role offers a competitive salary of £42,000 - £45,000 per annum plus 34 days annual leave, free parking and early finish every Friday.
Key duties will include
- Preparing monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and journals.
- Assisting with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support business performance
- Standard/products costing
- Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations.
- Supporting with year‑end statutory accounts and audit preparation.
- Providing financial insight to operational management to drive efficiency and cost control.
- Continuous review of processes and systems to enhance accuracy and timeliness of reporting
About You
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience.
- Strong management accounting experience, ideally with a background in manufacturing, FMCG or sale of goods.
- Excellent Excel skills with strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
- Hands‑on, proactive, and confident in communicating with non-finance stakeholders.
- A team player who thrives in a busy, fast‑paced setting
