A leading UK construction and development contractor is seeking a motivated Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team. The role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects, including data centres, hotels, and commercial office developments, across the UK. Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Support
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
- Support the management of project costs from inception through to completion
- Contribute to cost reporting and forecasting on live projects
- Help monitor subcontractor performance and payments
- Procurement
- Assist in the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
- Support the preparation of tender packages and contract documentation
- Evaluate quotations and contribute to value engineering exercises.
- Contract Administration
- Support the administration of construction contracts (e.g. NEC / JCT)
- Assist in managing variations, valuations, and final accounts
- Maintain accurate commercial records and documentation
- Project Delivery
- Work closely with site and design teams to ensure effective cost control
- Attend project meetings and contribute to commercial discussions
- Support the identification and management of commercial risks and opportunities
Projects Exposure - You will gain hands-on experience across a range of sectors, including:

Candidate Requirements
- Essential
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related discipline

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)
