As a Senior Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the M&E design process from concept through to completion, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality projects across our clients portfolio. This position offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects and influence the future of the built environment.
- Managing and coordinating the design process across M&E to achieve integrated solutions.
- Leading design reviews and ensuring compliance with project requirements, regulations, and industry standards.
- Collaborating closely with internal teams, external consultants, contractors and stakeholders to maintain design integrity and project objectives.
- Providing leadership and guidance to design teams, fostering innovation and best practices.
- Supporting project delivery through all stages, including site visits, client meetings, and quality assurance checks.
Requirements:
- Degree in Building Services/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related subject.
- ~8+ years of experience in design management with a Tier-1 Contractor.
- Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary design teams on complex projects.
- Strong understanding of UK building regulations, planning processes, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in design coordination tools and software (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM platforms, NBS, etc.).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
