Role Overview
You will be joining as an electrical design engineer in their Glasgow office. Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing calculations, design drawings, reports and specifications
- Supporting Senior and Associate Engineers as well as the Management team
- Ensuring your work meets the organisations quality assurance standards
- Undertaking condition surveys
- Attending team and project meetings
- Contributing to relevant sustainability legislation
- Contributing to Section 6 compliance modelling
- Witness testing the proving and commissioning procedures of final installations
- Mentoring and training junior engineers
Requirements
- BEng/MEng in Electrical/Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
- Previous experience within a Building Services consultancy.
- Working towards chartership.
- Working knowledge of industry standard software like AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Hevacomp, IES, Dialux/Relux, etc.
- Proven experience of designing Electrical Services in line with appropriate standards, guidance and client’s requirements.
- The ability to work to and meet deadlines, communicate issues effectively and efficiently to ensure project success.
