This is a standout opportunity for a recently qualified or finalist CA/ACCA who would relish the opportunity to work within a friendly, professional modern firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors. Based in Glasgow city centre, you’ll be joining a growing, integrated audit team within a well-established professional services firm that has recently invested heavily in its Scottish audit practice.

The Role:

  • As an Audit Senior you’ll sit at the sweet spot between delivery and leadership.
  • Being the Senior for a portfolio of audit clients, predominately commercial OMB's.
  • Acting as the day-to-date client contact, liaising with Managers and Partners.
  • Reviewing audit files and ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget and to a high technical standard.
  • Coaching and developing junior team members through on-the-job training and formal workshops.
  • Identifying issues and opportunities within client businesses and adding genuine value.
  • Stepping up to lead multiple audit assignments concurrently.

What They’re Looking For:

  • Qualified or part-qualified CA, ACCA.
  • A minimum of 2-years' experience in auditing of owner-managed businesses in a small or medium sized firm of accountants in the UK.
  • Confident communicator who enjoys working directly with clients.
  • Someone ready to lead, review and take ownership, not just tick boxes.
  • Commercially curious — you spot issues and think beyond the file.
