Lusona Consultancy is exclusively partnered with a Creative Design organisation in Glasgow as they recruit for a Finance Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an award-winning commercial firm with a strong focus on environmental sustainability and people at the heart of their business. Our client has 30 employees in Glasgow with over 35 years of experience in the sector. They are a recognisable brand in their profession with a positive culture and flexible approach.
The Finance Manager role can either be a 4 or 5 day a week role based in Central Glasgow under a hybrid working arrangement. Reporting to the Directors, this is the most senior role in Finance, with the Finance Manager running the end-to-end financial affairs internally and across multiple projects. This role would be suited to a fully qualified Accountant who enjoys building the narrative around the numbers in addition to end-to-end Management and Financial accounting responsibilities.
The salary on offer is between Β£50,000 - Β£55,000 per annum, with benefits including an annual bonus, agile working, 35 days annual leave, and healthcare. The Finance Manager will have one direct report at the transactional level and will assume a leadership role in the wider organisation, supporting operations and offering commercial insight and guidance.
The Finance Manager job is a broad role that will ensure the smooth end-to-end running of the finance function, from overseeing transactional activities to delivering Management Accounts and Cash flow analysis. This is a commercial role that will partner with project teams and the company Directors, including financial models and variance analysis across company projects and visibility of management information. Cash-flow management is key here, and working with non-financial stakeholders to understand projects and costings is critical to deliver business activities.
Budgeting, forecasting, and predicting future trends will feature heavily here, with the opportunity to improve processes along the way. You will provide advice to the business on financial strategy, deliver year-end requirements, and support the business. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Accountant with SME experience, ideally within a project-based environment. Above all, a collaborative approach to working with non-financial stakeholders and providing detailed Management information to a varied audience is essential.
