Temporary Accounts Assistant (6–8 weeks) - Glenrothes
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, office based
Start Date: ASAP
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to provide temporary cover for approximately 6–8 weeks, supporting a busy and friendly finance team based in Glenrothes. This is a hands-on general accounts role, working alongside a small finance team and providing support across:
- Purchase ledger
- Cash posting
- Credit control
- General finance administration
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate filing and financial records
- Assisting with credit control, including chasing outstanding payments by phone and email
- Providing general accounts and administration support to the finance team
We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and is confident working across general accounts administration.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
- Good Excel skills
- Experience with purchase ledger and invoice processing
- A proactive and flexible approach
