A highly regarded international law firm is looking to recruit a Senior Associate to join its market-leading Energy & Infrastructure Real Estate team in Scotland. This is a standout opportunity for an experienced energy property lawyer to work on some of the UK’s most complex and nationally significant projects.
The Role
You will advise on the real estate aspects of large-scale energy and infrastructure developments across the UK, supporting clients throughout the full project lifecycle, including development, project finance, acquisitions and disposals. The work spans a broad range of cutting-edge energy and infrastructure sectors, including:
- Onshore and offshore wind
- Battery storage
- Hydrogen and gas projects
- Interconnectors and transmission infrastructure
- EV and emerging energy technologies
You will work closely with leading specialists in a collaborative, high-performing team, with genuine scope to take on responsibility, mentor juniors and deepen sector expertise.
Candidate Profile
This opportunity will suit lawyers who can demonstrate:
- 4–8 years’ PQE (or above)
- Qualification in England & Wales, or dual qualification (E&W and Scotland)
- Strong experience in property work on major energy and infrastructure transactions
- Training and experience gained within a reputable national or international firm
- Excellent technical skills and a strong academic background
- Commercial awareness and a genuine enthusiasm for the energy sector
