A leading international law firm is seeking an experienced Associate/Senior Associate to join its growing Insurance & Reinsurance team based in Edinburgh or Glasgow. This is an exciting chance to work on high-profile matters for an enviable client base, including leading insurers and major brokers.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a wide range of professional indemnity disputes, particularly defending claims against finance professionals, solicitors, and insurance brokers.
- Advise on financial lines, W&I, cyber risks, and complex policy coverage matters.
- Work on national and international construction all risks disputes and insurance advisory matters.
- Build strong client relationships and develop your own network in the market.
About You
- Qualified in Scots law or dual qualified (E&W considered).
- 4–7 years’ PQE gained at a reputable commercial firm.
- Strong drafting skills and ability to deliver practical, commercial advice.
- Experience in professional indemnity and financial lines preferred; coverage experience in other classes considered.
- Excellent interpersonal and project management skills.
