We’re working with a well-established, highly regarded accountancy practice in West Lothian looking to appoint a Part-Time Tax Senior to take ownership of their personal tax portfolio within a busy local office. This is a key hire. You’ll effectively become the go-to person for personal tax—trusted to manage your own workload and deliver a high standard of service across a varied client base.
What you’ll be doing:

- Liaising directly with clients and HMRC
- Supporting with company secretarial work (e.g. confirmation statements)
- Using CCH software for compliance work
- (Optional) Supporting with corporation tax compliance if of interest
What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience in personal tax compliance (this is non-negotiable)
- Confident managing your own workload with minimal supervision

- Organised, reliable and able to hit deadlines without being chased
- Experience with CCH is advantageous
- Exposure to (or interest in learning) corporation tax is a bonus—not essential

- Autonomy – you’ll be trusted to run your own workload
- Varied client base – no two days look the same
- Supportive, close-knit team – no corporate politics
- Long-term stability in a well-run local firm
