Role Overview An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Civil or Structural Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team. Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will be involved in the design, analysis, and delivery of projects from concept through to construction, gaining exposure across multiple sectors and project types. Key responsibilities include: Undertaking civil and structural design and analysis Producing engineering calculations, reports, and technical documentation Reviewing and coordinating drawings and project information Liaising with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders Ensuring designs comply with Eurocodes, UK standards, and project requirements Supporting junior engineers and contributing to continuous improvement Requirements BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related discipline) Minimum 2 years’ post-graduate experience in a design role Experience designing with reinforced concrete and steel Strong understanding of Eurocodes and UK design standards Good communication skills and ability to work within a team Competent in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Teklated and other industry standard software Familiarity with BIM processes and design software Exposure to sectors such as industrial, commercial, infrastructure, or renewables Full UK driving licence Working towards Chartered Engineer status Benefits Salary up to £55,000 (DoE) Company pension scheme Annual bonus scheme Professional membership support Ongoing training and development Support towards chartership Collaborative and supportive working environment Exposure to diverse, technically challenging projects Clear career progression opportunities Next Steps If you're interested in this opportunity, please submit your updated CV or reach out to Lusona Consultancy for a confidential conversation.
