Our client, a leading services organisation, is seeking a Corporate Tax Analyst to join their Edinburgh team. Offering hybrid working and excellent training, this role will play a crucial part in delivering UK corporation tax compliance for a portfolio of subsidiary entities, as well as supporting the compliance requirements of their largest banking entities.
What you’ll do:
- Manage a portfolio of group companies, preparing tax provisions and disclosures.
- Liaise with Finance teams to gather information for tax computations.
- Assist with quarterly corporation tax instalments, group relief plans, and settlements with HMRC.
- Support the year-end group reporting process and assist with specialist tax processes.
What we’re looking for:
- A background in Tax, Audit or Accounting.
- Candidates who are part-qualified or qualified (ACCA / ICAS / ACA / ATT / CTA or equivalent).
- Strong Excel skills and good general business and commercial awareness.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
- A willingness to learn and in turn develop your skills, experience and career.
