Role Overview

You will be joining as an electrical design engineer in their Glasgow office. Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing calculations, design drawings, reports and specifications
• Supporting Senior and Associate Engineers as well as the Management team
• Ensuring your work meets the organisations quality assurance standards
• Undertaking condition surveys
• Attending team and project meetings
• Contributing to relevant sustainability legislation
• Contributing to Section 6 compliance modelling
• Witness testing the proving and commissioning procedures of final installations
• Mentoring and training junior engineers

Requirements

• BEng/MEng in Electrical/Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
• Previous experience within a Building Services consultancy.
• Working towards chartership.
• Working knowledge of industry standard software like AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Hevacomp, IES, Dialux/Relux, etc.
• Proven experience of designing design Electrical Services in line with appropriate standards, guidance and client`s requirements.
• The ability to work to and meet deadlines, communicate issues effectively and efficiently to ensure project success.
