A leading UK law firm is seeking a Solicitor or Associate (3–5 years’ PQE) to join its well-regarded Rural Property team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of high-quality matters within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

The Role

  • Advise on a diverse portfolio of rural property work, including:
    • Sale and purchase of farms, estates and forestry
    • Agricultural tenancies (acting for landlords and tenants)
    • Succession planning and partnership matters
    • Renewable energy developments
    • Emerging natural capital transactions
  • Play a key role in delivering commercially focused advice while building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing property transactions from instruction through to completion
  • Supporting senior lawyers on complex matters
  • Delivering clear and pragmatic legal advice to clients
  • Maintaining high standards of accuracy, risk awareness and client care
  • Contributing to business development and marketing activity
  • Managing workload effectively to meet deadlines and budgets

About You

  • 3–5 years’ PQE with strong property law experience (rural experience beneficial but not essential)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving capability
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
