Lusona Consultancy is delighted to be partnering with our client in the manufacturing sector to source suitable applicants for the position of Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and growing business, playing a key role within the finance function and supporting the wider operations team. The role is fully office-based and ideal for a hands-on accountant who enjoys variety, responsibility, and working as part of a collaborative team.
Key duties will include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and journals.
- Assisting with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support business performance.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations.
- Supporting with year-end statutory accounts and audit preparation.
- Providing financial insight to operational management to drive efficiency and cost control.
- Continuous review of processes and systems to enhance accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
About You:
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience.
- Strong management accounting experience, ideally with a background in manufacturing, FMCG or sale of goods.
- Excellent Excel skills with strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
- Hands-on, proactive, and confident in communicating with non-finance stakeholders.
- A team player who thrives in a busy, fast-paced setting.
