A career-enhancing opportunity for a Trainee Accountant to join this established and reputable firm of Chartered Accountants and Advisers in Glasgow city centre. This role would suit an accounts assistant or bookkeeper who has around 3 years’ experience in an accountancy practice and is now seeking to pursue ACCA qualification. The firm has a demonstrable history of supporting team members throughout professional qualification and beyond. Joining an established team of trainee and qualified accountants, you will be responsible for a varied portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities will include:
- Bookkeeping duties
- Preparing VAT returns
- Preparing management accounts and reporting
- Supporting with the preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies
- Providing support to clients using cloud-based accounting systems (e.g. Sage Cloud, Xero, Quickbooks)
