Our CA firm client in Glasgow city centre is expanding rapidly. This is an excellent opportunity to join them as Audit Assistant (Part-Qualified). What makes this opportunity unique is that you will have the option to do pure audit work or combine it with accounts preparation.
Our client is independent and has an impressive client portfolio from a wide range of sectors including engineering, retail, professional services, manufacturing and technology.
As Audit Assistant, you will be responsible for carrying out audit engagements on client site and in the office, reporting to senior members of the audit team. You will identify and highlight any issues or risks and have direct contact with clients. You will also have the opportunity to support with accounts preparation work, both statutory and management accounts.
Ideally, you will have a minimum of 18 months' experience of UK external audit gained within accountancy practice and working towards professional accounting qualification. You will be an excellent communicator, with good time management and problem solving skills.
Our client is also keen to hear from those who have been unlucky with ICAS/ACCA exam failure policies in their current firm. Salary up to £38,000 (DOE) + Study Support + Benefits. Hybrid working.
