Lusona Consultancy are proud to be working with a high-growth technology business as they recruit for a Senior Management Accountant on a 12-month contract basis. Our client is a £40 million turnover business with an exciting success story, having grown significantly over the last 2–3 years. Initially covering a period of maternity leave, they are looking to find a motivated and experienced Senior Management Accountant to support this growth and the wider finance team.

This role offers a competitive salary of £60,000–£70,000 depending on experience and would suit a qualified accountant with strong leadership skills. The Senior Management Accountant will report to the Group Financial Controller and will be responsible for four direct reports within Finance. The role requires strong technical and commercial experience, supporting with the audit initially and then leading the management accounting process for five legal entities.

This is a commercial role, working closely with the business and gaining exposure to new projects as the company continues to diversify and grow. You will be responsible for management accounting and board reporting, year-end processes under IFRS reporting standards, presenting reporting packs to the business with associated commentary, and supporting the Group Financial Controller with the budgeting process.

This is a lively and fast-paced team where the Senior Management Accountant will play a key role. There may be opportunities for a longer-term position beyond the initial one-year period. Our client offers a range of benefits including hybrid working, an on-site gym, 34 days annual leave, and a generous pension contribution of 6%. This role would suit a qualified accountant who enjoys working collaboratively and providing advice and guidance to support decision-making.
